Terms of Service

1. The service

public-it lets you publish HTML content (typically AI-generated artifacts) as websites served from subdomains or your own domain, via the dashboard, the REST API or the MCP integration.

We provide the publishing and serving infrastructure. We do not create, review or endorse the content you publish.

2. Accounts

You need an account to publish. You are responsible for the activity in your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys secret.

Team members you invite act on your workspace and share your plan's quotas. You are responsible for their activity in your workspace.

3. Plans, billing and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly in USD through Stripe. Upgrades take effect immediately; cancellations keep the plan active until the end of the paid period, then the account returns to Free.

When a plan lapses, your published sites stay online — creation and publishing beyond the Free quota are blocked until you upgrade again.

Amounts already charged are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you publish and are solely responsible for it — including having the rights to publish it and complying with applicable law.

You grant us the technical license needed to store, copy and serve that content publicly on your behalf. That's the whole point of the product.

Published sites are public by design: anyone with the URL can access them.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use public-it for: malware or phishing, content that infringes third-party rights, sexual content involving minors, incitement to violence, spam or deceptive schemes, or attempts to abuse, overload or break the platform.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with immediate effect when the risk to others warrants it.

6. Quotas and availability

Each plan has limits (sites, storage, monthly traffic) described on the pricing page. Traffic beyond the plan's quota pauses serving until the month turns or the plan is upgraded.

The service is provided "as is", without uptime guarantees on self-serve plans. We work to keep it fast and available, but outages, maintenance and changes can happen.

7. Termination

You can delete sites or your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the platform or third parties.

On termination your published content stops being served and stored files are deleted after a reasonable window.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, public-it is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the event.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by e-mail, and continued use means acceptance.
